2010 parks and natural areas bond measure campaign
The Trust for Public Land Action Fund sponsored the successful campaign to pass a $17 million bond to purchase parks and conserve natural areas in a rapidly developing but fiscally conservative Portland-area suburb.
“We’re a small suburban town. The Trust for Public Land Action Fund gave us the professional management, public opinion research, and strategizing that we couldn’t have done locally. We didn’t have the wherewithal and the funds to pull together a campaign in such a short time. The Trust for Public Land Action Fund came in and really helped us pull it off.”
