Ongoing legislative campaign to support the New York Environmental Protection Fund
Since 2011, The Trust for Public Land Action Fund has hosted the legislative grassroots, media, and lobbying campaign by Friends of New York’s Environment, a coalition of more than 200 environmental, public health, agricultural, recreational, and urban groups. The effort successfully defended New York’s main source of conservation funding from further cuts and has begun restoring funding to pre-recession goals.
“The Trust for Public Land Action Fund was really critical because it provided all the administrative backbone for our legislative media campaign. We were able to have an effective system for making sure we could deploy our resources quickly, appropriately, and effectively.”
